About the event

 A weekly exercise class for the Autumn/Winter season, hosted by the Elemental Garden family - with 3-tiered payment options to suit your personal financial circumstances - drop your anonymous offering into our collection box at the start of class  $10 or $15 or $20 per session.

Our warm, matted gym space provides excellent support to your body as you exercise through the cooler Yin cycle of the year.

  • Our versatile class begins with group warm-up, chat and backwards walking to support knee health and balance as we age.

  • Next comes the Yin-Yang circuit, a time for quiet and self-focus with independent stations set up that can be as gentle and slow, or intense and focused as you wish to make the exercise.  Many of these exercise positions are equipment-free, so they can also be practiced at home during the week, if you choose.

  • The second half of the class is our interactive component designed to empower women of all ages to learn to ground, reduce anxiety and grow confidence by learning about self-protection.  This is the time to partner up to train, guided by one of our 3 experienced Martial Arts instructors, each focusing  on their area of speciality.  This fun and inspiring section invites us all to meet our inner Yang.

  • We wind down back in a circle to stretch out together, reflect and share about our evening's  learning.

  • Finally we stand and complete with a couple of Qi-gong soothing moves with a few minutes of contemplative silence to conclude our session before returning home to a good night of healing sleep.
