Our North Canterbury venue is available for hire year round for nature and cultural celebrations and educational workshops that deepen connections with our natural world. We can offer both indoor and outdoor space with a rustic, warm, close to Nature feel. Elemental can adapt to every season with a variety of quirky spaces to enjoy and explore.

Outdoor Spaces
Enjoy our large rustic garden space, , from open grassed areas perfect for pitching tents or playing lawn games, to the labyrinth and wild and weedy foraging places. When the season is right, bonfires are welcome.
NB. Elemental is located on sloping terraces that leads down to a seasonal riverbed. The terrain could therefore be challenging for the very young and older members of the public.
Hiring Options
Weekdays
On weekdays, hire by the hour. Suitable for one off classes or workshops, or regular weekly bookings, subject to availability.
$25 per hour
Weekends
On weekends,
hire by the half-day or full day.
This gives you 6 or 12 hours with exclusive use of the whole site.
$100 half-day
$200 full day
Extended Hire
We have limited availability for multi-day hire, e.g weekend retreats. Please get in touch to discuss your needs and options.

FAQs
All you need to know about venue hire at Elemental!
If your question is not answered here, please don't hesitate to contact us.
How many hours is a full or half day?
A half day is 6 hours, 10am - 4pm, or 6pm - midnight. A full day allows for 12 hours e.g. 10am - 10pm. This includes any set up and pack up/cleaning time.
Is cleaning included?
We offer affordable rates for hiring the venue only, and ask that you please leave the space as you found it. Please factor in time to do your own cleaning.
Am I hiring exclusive use of the whole space?
We book only one event at a time, so that you can have flexible use of the indoor and outdoor spaces. There are tiny homes on the property that may at times be booked as accommodation, but these do not impact on the venue spaces.
Are pets welcome?
Yes, your pet companions are welcome by prior arrangement! Please note, the property is not fully fenced or gated and they remain your responsibility at all times.
