Rainbow's End

Updated: Sep 25

The poem has changed (the only constant eh!) and I decided not to delete the original because I wanted the creative process we all experience to be shown through this medium. I didn't decide in my head to change the poem, I just woke up and felt in my body the yearning of the elements to be shared in their fullness and the words appeared. Nature wants to be known, accepted, loved for all her forms of expression. She is in each of us. Sometimes I rage. Sometimes I laugh. Sometimes I cherish. Sometimes I moan. (I'll stop now because that might become a writing of its own!) And I know you do too. That's our humanity at work. This emotional expression IS our creative nature and when the elements are held in respectful balance, we can sit at their centre and live a creative life. Sadly, many of us have been taught to suppress our true emotional nature, rather than learn about our whole selves and how to manage and direct our beautiful energetic forces, called emotions into inventive and creative endeavours.

Here's what I believe is the completed version of this particular poem! I hope you enjoy its story.

Earth Quakes

Waters Gush

Fires Burn

Winds Rush

No Mistakes

Storms Build

Tides Turn

Life Healed

Earth Holds

Water Pools

Fire Protects

Wind Cools

Remember Love?

Change is Near

People Yearn

No Need to Fear

Earth Works

Water Flows

Fire Ignites

Wind Knows

Flowers Grow

Connections too

Rejoice Today

Tomorrow’s New

Earth Blooms

Waters Soothe

Fires Glow

Winds Move

Remember Love

Change is Here

People Learn

No Need to Fear
